Michael is a seasoned financial executive leading strategic financial initiatives. With over three decades in the industry, Michael brings deep expertise in financial management, operational efficiency, and growth strategy. He has served as CFO for Commune Hotels & Resorts, Joie de Vivre Hotels, and Thompson Hotels, where he was instrumental in steering financial operations and supporting expansion across multiple brands. Michael’s career also includes leadership roles as CFO at Harbor View Holdings and Tamalpais Hotel Services, where he developed a reputation for effective financial controls and strategic oversight. He began his career as an Audit Manager at Pannell Kerr Forster, advancing through progressively senior roles. Michael holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the University of South Dakota.
