Eagle Point Hotel Partners LLC is an independent platform founded by Stephen Chan and Erik Warner. The firm targets midscale, full-service and boutique hotels in primary and secondary markets that exhibit the greatest characteristics of growth over the short and medium term. The two principals, Stephen Chan and Erik Warner, created Eagle Point Hotel Partners in 2011 after longstanding and successful careers in the hotel real estate, private equity sector.



Stephen Chan
Stephen Chan was previously with HEI Hotels & Resorts (, one of the nation’s fastest growing private hotel owner/operators, where he was directly involved in the acquisition, development and sale of over $2.0 billion of hotel real estate. Prior to HEI, Chan was an asset manager of a $1.5 billion portfolio of full-service and luxury hotels at SCS Advisors on behalf of Walton Street Capital ( and JMB Realty. Erik Warner
Erik Warner was previously a principal and managing director of Ramsfield Hospitality Finance ( a partnership between Carval Investors ( and Ramsfield Real Estate. In addition to helping launch the platform, during his tenure he was involved in over $325 million of hotel debt and equity investments. Prior to RHF, Warner was with Jones Lang Lasalle Hotels ( and HVS International ( Erik Warner is a graduate of Cornell University.

Andrew Knauer was previously with Beacon Hospitality Partners (, a leading hospitality asset management, advisory and transactional practice, where he was directly responsible for the asset management of a portfolio of hotels totaling 1,400 rooms on behalf of an institutional client.  In addition to his asset management responsibilities, he was involved in the acquisition and sale of over $900 million of hotel real estate.  Prior to BHP, Knauer was with DTZ Hospitality Group and Molinaro Koger.  Andrew Knauer is a graduate of Cornell University (School of Hotel Administration), with a Master’s Degree in Real Estate from New York University.
